Essential Information
The club requires all racers to have membership of the BRCA (British Radio Car Association) as this provides the necessary insurance cover.

You get 3 races as a new start where BRCA will cover your insurance. After that you need BRCA membership.

The club has a lap timing system where each car has a personal transponder (or "PT").  The club has a limited number of transponders to hire out (2) but we encourage everyone to buy their own once they have decided they are hooked!  Unfortunately the transponders are quite expensive - the good news is that they are saught after on the second hand market so if you do get one, you can sell them on without too much of a loss.  We use an older transponder receiver so you need a Mylaps "Hybrid" transponder.  If you buy the cheaper RC4 it will not work at GRCC. The "Hybrid" will work at GRCC and SDRCC.

It is the Hybrid aka 'Harry' one you need to get
